• After Vatican II, you can look and go to specific parishes that would prefer. (Cultural, Ethnic etc.)
• Brought sense of hope and a sense of awakening. A better feeling of an individual experience and relationship with God.

• Mass is different now, than before Vatican II because the church wants to be more welcoming to people
• Many changes were made to the church ie. languages spoken
• Vatican II wanted flexibility. So modern languages, as well as latin were approved to be spoken at mass

• Vatican II is a meeting with the bishops around the world to solve problems that need answers
• Tensions of council II are evident, when bishops want different things
• John Paull II wanted change, Benedict XVI wanted the conservative route.
